Today in math we learned about what volume is. Today in science we built vehicles and tested how far they went using gravity.

Today in math we learned how to use number lines to help us visualize how to mutilply whole numbers by fractions. Today in science some people presented their newspaper article about the respiratory system. In reading Miss McBride read us a book called "Number the Stars".

Today in science we learned about smooth muscles, cardio muscles, and skeletal muscles.
In math today we learned how to add and subtract nixed numbers such as four
and two tenths minus two and three fiths. Today in daily 5 we worked in groups on describing characters
from books and how they feel about a topic, the topic being slavery. After that we drawed cards from a bucket deciding
wich side we are on for slavery because we will have a debate

Today in science we learned abouth the bones in are body as well as the parts of the bone.
In math today we worked on simplifying and unsimplifiying fractions with unlike denomenators adding them and subtracting them.
We read a read aloud about world war two and talked about the main idea then we did that in our own books.

We had silver trout and the puppeters showed there shows. In math we learned about plotting coordinates on grids.
Our special was drama again, Mrs. Glenn leaves tomorrow! In social studies we reviewed our questions about the civil war. In science we played another game called who has I have. What we do is everyone gets a postcard with a science term and a different definition. When someone reads a definition that matches your term, you read your defintion and the game continues until we get back to the word weather.

It's already the last week of the quarter/beginning of 2nd quarter -- week 10!!
We met in the computer lab this morning and did Study Jams, or Edmodo.
Today are speacial is science, and we are making prezis for are science. The prezis are for human body, ecosystems, motion and design and weather.
We did Case 21 reading tests today and Case 21 math tests yesterday.
In math, we learned more about polygons.

we all poulloted our ecocolyms and went in groups and did point-of-view. did a review in math about decimals. We all had a part about what happend in the war of colinies(which invoved a lot of money!)and saw how we reacted when our m&m`s(money) got taken away because of taxses. on the 9th week of school we are doing better and better!-Jacob k.

Today in math we learned about decimals and how to use a 100's grid to represent a decimal number.
In science we tested the pH of our terrariums and aquariums.then we tested the pH of our pollutants fertilizer, salt, and acid.
We learned about metaphors in writing and how much more sufistocated metaphors are than similies.
During daily 5 some groups of literature circle met and were introduced to the jobs in the literature circle.
